TONY IVENS
Tony comes originally from a scientific background, but has been working in the parenting field in Wales for a number of years, during which time h
e has worked for both the statutory and voluntary sectors.  He has always had a special interest in working with fathers and was responsible for much of the pioneering work with fathers in Wales.

In addition to this work he collaborated on the development of Living With Teenagers, and co-authored the One to One support programme for Carmarthenshire.

He currently has responsibility for the Fatherhood Wales Forum, the All Wales network for professionals working with fathers.  During the last few years he has shared these experiences through the delivery of training programmes to hundreds of workers from a variety of disciplines.

More recently Tony Chaired the Welsh Assembly Government Working Group which drew up the Parenting Action Plan for Wales.

He is currently married with two grown up children.

NICK CLEMENTS
Nick trained in film making, performance art and social work.  In 1981 he set up The Pioneers Community Arts Team and managed them until 2002, providing employment for over 80 people, using the arts and creativity in some of the poorest communities throughout Wales, Europe, America and Asia.

Throughout that time he always tended to work with boys and men, naturally gravitating to them, and enabling them to deal with their issues through creativity.

He has run training programmes and workshops for men and fathers for over 15 years, specializing in creativity, economic and social impact, and personal development.  As well as delivering such programmes for care and mental health professionals.

Nick is a well known author of books on community art and masculinity, he makes documentary films about men and rites of passage, and is touring a one man show about the seven ages of men.

He is the father of two grown up children.
